The Experience

Enjoy traditional Coorg cuisine served on a beautiful brass thali right in the lap of nature. Whilst Coorg cuisine gets its influences from neighbouring regions, it has a culinary identity of its own. Being a agri-plantation society, the cuisine naturally comes from what the land supplies.
Pork is a predominant meat of the Coorg cuisine along with Chicken. On the vegetarian side the land offers Bamboo shoots, Butter beans and a general array of vegetables. Fresh condiments such a Turmeric, Ginger and spices like Cardamom, Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon and many others lend thier flavors.
A unique and most distinguishing feature of Coorg cuisine is the use of a vinegar called Kachi Puli which is derived in a skillfull process from the Cambogia Garcenia fruit commonly called Kokum. This is a sour taste which adds a sense of intrigue to the dish and completely gives it an identity of its own there by resulting in a taste that is distinct and “Coorg”
Duration
We take reservations from 12.00 noon till 4.00 pm.
The meal experience will last about an hour.
Charges
Adult: Rs. 500,
Children between the age 6 – 12: Rs. 300,
Children below 6 are our guests.
The meal has vegetarian and non-vegetarian option.
